The Level 6 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice is an advanced qualification designed for experienced practitioners who already hold skills in treatments such as micropigmentation, dermaplaning or other aesthetic procedures. This programme deepens professional knowledge, strengthens clinical understanding, and builds the competence required to deliver higher-level aesthetic treatments safely and effectively. What you will learn Advanced principles of aesthetic practice, ethics and professional standards In-depth anatomy, physiology and pathology relevant to aesthetic procedures Mesotherapy Skin Boosters Non-surgical fat reduction Practical competence in a range of advanced aesthetic treatments Safe working practices, treatment planning and client management Prerequisites To enrol, learners must hold: A Level 4/5 qualification in Beauty Therapy, Laser & IPL, or equivalent aesthetic treatment qualification. A valid First Aid certificate (must remain current during the course). Basic understanding of skin anatomy and hygiene procedures. To achieve the Level 6 Diploma, learners must: - Complete all 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units - Carry out case studies on live models (observed by assessor) - Submit written assignments and knowledge-based tasks for each unit - Build a portfolio of evidence including consultation forms, photos, consent, reflections, and aftercare notes - Demonstrate professionalism and safe clinical practice during assessments Progression This qualification is ideal for practitioners looking to expand their scope of practice, move into advanced aesthetic roles, or progress towards Level 7 study.
