The Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice represents the highest level of training within the non-medical aesthetics sector. Designed for experienced practitioners, this qualification provides the depth of knowledge, clinical understanding and supervised practice required to deliver injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin, safely, ethically and competently. It reflects the demanding standards recommended in the Health Education England (HEE) 2015 Qualification Requirements for Delivery of Cosmetic Procedures, and offers significantly more education, supervision, observation and assessment than short-course training. It offers: Greater depth of theory and scientific understanding Extensive supervised practice and observation Stronger clinical judgement and treatment planning skills Increased reassurance for both learners and the public Prerequisites To enrol, learners must hold: A Level 6 qualification in Beauty Therapy, Laser & IPL, or equivalent aesthetic treatment qualification. A valid First Aid certificate (must remain current during the course). Basic understanding of skin anatomy and hygiene procedures. To achieve the Level 7 Diploma, learners must: Complete all 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units Carry out case studies on live models (observed by assessor) Submit written assignments and knowledge-based tasks for each unit Build a portfolio of evidence including consultation forms, photos, consent, reflections, and aftercare notes Demonstrate professionalism and safe clinical practice during assessments Progression Ideal for practitioners aiming to specialise in injectable aesthetics, take on advanced clinical responsibilities, or position themselves as highly qualified professionals within the aesthetics sector.
